Garnier Skin Care Ads |

 Despite being up for an award Alana did not attend last week’s ALMA Awards. It was fellow drama actress Roselyn Sanchez, who took home the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Congrats to her! But I do however have a little treat for you. I was finally able to get some good quality pictures of Alana’s ads for Garnier Skin Care. Here is a little info on the Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Sun-Damage Daily Moisture Lotion she is advertising. Sounds like a pretty good product:
“Had to report on this. I was in a Harmon Drug store recently and was at the check-out when two of the girls who work there started ooooo-ing and ahhhh-ing and raving about some moisturizer. Not one to pass up a lead for a product that’s worth it, I interrupted the fan-fest and asked what they were talking about: Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti-Sun-Damage Daily Moisture Lotion SPF 28. (a mouthful, no?) I asked one of them to get if for me and she did.
When I tell you these girls were raving–completely ecstatic–about Garnier Anti-Sun-Damage Daily Moisture Lotion SPF 28, I’m being serious. And here’s the thing–they weren’t touting it as a sunscreen, or as an anti-aging solution–heck, they couldn’t have been more than 48 in combined years (do the math). They were screaming about what a great acne treatment it is! I’m only reporting what I heard…”

Alana Cleared Up Her Wedding Mystery |

Let there be no mistake: “Law & Order” star Alana De La Garza married in Orlando on May 31.Some readers have questioned my blog posting in early June. At an NBC party Sunday night, the actress confirmed that I had the correct information.
Alana De La Garza cleared up her wedding mystery.
De La Garza, one of the most beautiful women on television, met her husband, writer Mike Roberts, in Orlando. She said erroneous reports have her marrying a man with another name.
“I know who I married, and it wasn’t that guy,” De La Garza said.
Of her husband, she said, “I love that guy. We were friends for seven years.”
She is starting her third season with NBC drama.

Newlywed Alana De La Garza was 12 when Law & Order premiered. She’s the seventh A.D.A. on the show, sixth in a run of pretty actresses, including Elisabeth Rohm and Angie Harmon, who followed the original assistant, Richard Brooks.The show goes into its 19th season in January, the longest-running drama currently on TV. It has Gunsmoke’s 20-season all-time record clearly in its sights.
De La Garza, who plays Connie Rubirosa, understands that her role is the most frequent visitor to the show’s well-known casting revolving door. Three seasons is about average, and this one will be her third.
“I’m enjoying it while it lasts,” she told me. “It’s a gift, regardless. If it ends, I can move on with no regrets.”
The blushing bride was reluctant to talk about her personal life, but she says she’s having a ball on L & O, especially with all the great Broadway and film actors who drop in for guest roles.
“It’s really hard not to get star-struck,” De La Garza said. “I stand there, ‘Don’t be star-struck! Don’t be star-struck!’”

She may be married and all, but it didn’t take De La Garza a very long time to name her all-time favorite male Law & Order cast member” “Benjamin Bratt! Smoking! (and married.).”

Alma Awards Nomination |

Sadly Alana wasn’t nominated for an Emmy. But I am sure that she will have a much better chance next year. Because next year she would be nominated for her performance in the 18th season. And I think she had much better scripts to act on this season.
But and now she has been nominated for this year’s Alma Awards. Congratulations!
The winners will receive their awards on August 17. ABC is broadcasting the awards show on September 12.

As I had already expected Alana attended NBC’s Summer TCA Party, yesterday. She looked well rested and great as always. Over 40 images have been added to the gallery.
I have also finally added the video I’ve been telling you about for weeks. Alana was at the Night of a Thousand Lights event when a reporter asked her about her wedding plans. You can download it here (just scroll down to the end of the page).

Recent Confusion |

Hey there,
I was just browsing the web a little when I saw that somebody used my name on several sites to promote some false information about Alana. This person made comments on various “entertainment” sites saying that Alana got married to some guy named Joseph.
I can assure you however that non of these comments were written by me (even though my name and information were used) and that this information is completely false.
You can check my previous posting and/or Alana’s official site for reference.
This is all very confusing and I have to admit that it makes me extremely angry that somebody is going around pretending to be me and spreading around lies about this wonderful actress who I admire and respect so much.
I really hope you can believe that i did not do this and continue to visit this site.
On a much lighter note: It is TCA week in California and I hope we’ll be seeing Alana at the NBC party later this week.

Last Day Of The Monte Carlo TV Festival |

Like I had already guessed Alana attended the closing ceremony of the 48th Monte Carlo Television Festival, yesterday. “Law & Order” producer Dick Wolf was honored with an award for his outstanding work in television. Alana was there with her husband and her “Law & Order” co-stars Linus Roache and Anthony Anderson.
I hope we will see her at some more events in the weeks and months to come.
