I am really sorry that it’s taken me a bit longer to inform you about the most recent updates this time. I have been quite busy and just haven’t had the time to sit down and write some complete sentences. And this is what you can expect from tonight’s episode ‘Four Cops Shot’:
AN ENTIRE COMMUNITY IS SHAKEN WHEN FOUR POLICE OFFICERS ARE SHOT
When Detectives Cyrus Lupo (Jeremy Sisto) and Kevin Bernard (Anthony Anderson) arrive on the scene of four fallen police officers, they have to act fast to find the shooter. With a room full of witnesses, they have a description of the culprit but little else. The case becomes even more complex when the detectives discover that the police officers may have known the shooter.

The investigation quickly leads them to a circuit of drug dealers, a jealous husband and a remorseful judge who are all pieces of a larger puzzle.

Vesta Vamps recently had the chance to do an exclusive interview with Alana. They sat down with her to mark Women’s History Month. Here’s what she had to say about working with an almost exclusively male cast, how she unwinds after work and her love for baking:

“When you’re shooting 15 hours a day, there’s no time to pay attention to the “boys club.” You have to jump in and you swim or you sink! Besides, I think they probably now think of me as one of the boys.”

“I have a very understanding husband! (laughing) I almost always have the weekend off, and I just take it day by day. When something’s important to you, you make time for it. We just make it work. He takes great care of me. When I come home so tired that I can’t quite form a sentence, he feeds me and puts me to bed! That’s actually happened several times. He’s even blown-dry my hair as I lay on my pillow more than once.”

“When I have time, I LOVE to bake. I love the mixers, the pans, cups and gadgets. And most of all I love to eat afterwards! I’m also a huge arts and crafts nerd! Love to make homemade gifts and sentimental keepsakes.”

After what sure seems like an endless break due to the winter olympics, Law & Order returned to our tv screens on Monday. The show debuted on its new night with not one but two whole new episodes. It’s great to finally have the show back!

Unfortunately Alana did not attend the Children’s Rights Alliance dinner earlier this week. Sam Waterston, Angie Harmon and Dick Wolf, however, were in attendance. Law & Order will come back to NBC on Monday March 1 not one but two new episodes. Until then you can get your Law & Order fix by watching the new promo NBC has put up on their website. You can also watch two preview clips here and here.
But in the meantime I do have some new pictures for you already! I have added some new Garnier ads to the gallery. They finally came up with an ad that looks a bit different from the others. I’ll keep an eye out for the new tv commercial (if there is one).

I have been working on revamping the video section in the last couple of days. So far I haven’t gotten very far because the sheer amount of videos we have is just way to big. But I did finally get around to adding clips from the last two episodes of Law & Order (Fed and Blackmail). These can be found here now.

And since the whole Leno/Conan mess burned quite the hole into NBC’s prime time schedule, the have decided to order more episodes of Law & Order again- bringing this season’s total to 22 episodes (instead of the original 16). The show will also move to Monday night- starting March 1 with two episodes!

Also: The Alliance for Children’s Rights will be honoring the Law & Order family of shows with the National Champions for Children Award for their ongoing treatment of social issues in America at their annual gala this year. Alana is on the honorary committee and will hopefully attend the event on February 10, 2010. You can visit their website for more information.

As you have no doubt noticed, we have a new layout! It looks a bit similar to the previous layout because the same pictures and colors were used. But overall I like this one much better. Let me know, if you feel the same.

But there are bigger news to report than that. NBC’s Angela Bromstad announced that Law & Order is already as good as renewed for a 21st season. She also confirmed that the show will get 20 instead of only 16 episodes this season. So there are good news all around!

I believe we’re up to 20 hours of Law & Order.

Is it now nearly certain that the original Law & Order will be back again?
It’s not confirmed, deals have to be made, and so…we’d certainly like for that to be the case.

Alana and Linus were photographed working in Manhattan a couple of days ago. It really looks like they have a good time working together. You can take a look at the pictures here.

And as many of you know, I have forever been trying to upload clips of Alana’s scenes from the 2004 WB tv show The Mountain. Well I have finally found a good program and was able to make clips of the first five episodes already. I don’t have much time right now. But I will make the remaining clips eventually. I haven’t uploaded the videos to our server yet. So you can’t download them yet. But for now you can watch all the clips here.

It’s been a while since we’ve had a new episode of Law & Order. And with the exception of Friday’s “Fed” NBC will continue to air reruns during the holidays. New episodes will probably be back on the air in January.
Unfortunately Connie didn’t have much to do in this episode- so only a few screen caps have been added to the gallery. But fear not because I have more updates to make that will hopefully bridge this gap. But for now:

But first of all let me thank the awesome Scarlett yet again for donating scans from TV Guide’s special Law & Order issue! Also: Garnier released a new add for their Skin Renew line featuring Alana. (I got it from the December 09 Women’s Health issue). And lat but not least lots of new promotional pictures for Alana’s 2004 WB ‘The Mountain’ have been added to the gallery. I am still working on uploading clips from that show by the way. I just haven’t found the right program to make them yet. Let me know, if you’ve got a suggestion!

I have added the usual screen caps and clips of Friday’s Law & Order episode ‘Shotgun’ to the site. This was episode 10 and so far I haven’t heard anyone at NBC say that they definitely want to order more than the 16 episodes they already have. They just recently ordered more episodes of Trauma- so who knows, maybe we’ll get lucky, too.
